AN ORGANIC FARM IN INDIA: Manure, Life and the Bio-fuel Miracle of the Cow
I didn’t actually know how the bio-fuel system worked, and I still don’t, but I know a little more. Visiting this farm as a homestay was a grand experience in India. It also helped me understand the common sense of how and why, among a largely vegetarian populace, the cow came to be considered sacred. She is a profound symbol and means of sustainability, when treated with love and intelligence. At the very least she would have been, and may still be, vital. We also visited a small organic farm-based community at the end of our trip, Navadarshanam, which was gorgeous and slow, and the people lovely.
The stunning music from Brijesh and Vivek is something I witnessed at a Christmas Eve concert in Fort Cochin, with, shockingly, only about twelve other people. It was jaw-dropping and inspiring I left the theatre in a heightened state of joy and wonder.
Good job on your video I liked it very much!

India was eco-friendly before. The western culture influence has changed all age old practice.

I WISH MORE PEOPLE THOUGHT THIS WAY .. IT IS IRONICALLY MORE PROFITABLE to BE GREEN .. WHY CAN’T GREEDY CAPITALISTS SEE THAT? THEY BLINDLY LOOK AT START UP COSTS AND ARE TOO LAZY DOING SOME SIMPLE MATH ..

wow the worm thing is really cool
This is great, in the world with full of cheating corruption and destruction of mother earth. it is wonderfull to see this,
I hope they add their own waste to the cow dung fermenter to make methane (CH4). And I hope that their simple model is adopted everywhere so that human waste becomes a product instead of dumping it into our rivers and oceans.
It is simply to let the decomposing bacteria do its job. It is the same process in our guts when we produce natural gas, i.e., a fart. Methane is produced in sewage treatment plants, septic systems, compost, and heat is produced as well as water. CH4 + 2 O2 = CO2 + 2H2O. This chemical reaction produces heat and also anoxic conditions so you need the plants to grow in the heat to produce shade and use the carbon dioxide and water and give back the oxygen and produce fruit for us to eat.
really sweet

Cute & inspiring video … I share the sadness in the way Indian classical music is being ignored by today’s public….
Inspiring Video……..
Nice video, and definitely inspiring. Loved the part about the compost & worms.
Beautiful video! At Rakum we do organic farming and have around 50 cows. We use heir dung to make biofuel. At Ashram whole surrounding is surrounded by greenery and few Turkeys, we have fish aquarium, birds. Visitors come to stay at our Ashram to rejuvenate their tired soul.
I am very inspired by this. Where do you stay. I would like to visit your farm.

they look so healthy and they aren’t that small to, I’ve seen certified organic fertilizers that they may promote twice the growth size, with out making them grow faster so they still have the time to grow properly and absorb nutrients. I’d love to taste there actual cuisine, I live in Ontario,Canada, so freaking everything’s commercial. They Indian food here isn’t real authentic if it isn’t organic. If I had the money to move there, I wouldn’t mind moving to the southern coast of BC either.
Great family
Blessed
